[MU] - DECEMBER STORYTELLING / MEMORY SHARE
Something is wrong.
This may not very well be obvious, at first. The Storyteller is not present to put forth yet another diatribe, informative or apologetic, and the backdrop of guttering flame and sandy campfire is as present as ever...albeit briefly.
Those who tell their stories will start to notice something...odd taking place. Indeed, no matter how they intend to begin their tale, the land of Mu will immediately start to warp to accommodate it, or something utterly unlike it, until storytellers and listeners alike may find themselves in an exact recreation of a seemingly random memory, in the most stark and painstaking of detail. There is no altering the memory, nor is there any preventing it once it's begun to play - you will simply have to witness memories that are not your own this go around.
Furthermore, stories that take place in worlds other than LifeAftr will be, frankly, inevitable. Those memories, too, will be recreated, to be relived by the teller and lived by the listener.
It is time, once more, for you to tell a story...with a slight twist! This is, in fact, our first player plot, as provided by Dragon! The initial setting will be familiar for oldcomers, and newcomers will recognize it from the introduction they received in their dreams.
Yet for this Storytelling only, people can imagine whatever stories they wish, from both their homes and their time on LifeAftr, as long as they don't mind the fact that others will be reliving those stories in the form of an impromptu memory share.
Even those who prefer not to voice their stories aloud are not safe this time around. If the memory is recalled in essence, Mu will shift to accommodate it in full.
There is, however, a benefit to this: those who venture memories to be relived will receive both a befuddled apology from the Storyteller, who will assert that this was most definitely not meant to happen (they're the Storyteller, not the Rememberer!), as well as a tired promise that the relived memories will be worth two offerings each, as if in compensation.
Not that it counts for much, probably.

We can play lots of games together when we wake up. I'll bring the cats.
[This dog knows how to be gentle with them and animals typically benefit being together. ESP Kitty would surely love this mama pupper. Murasaki would too, definitely. They can roll marbles around and chase them until the sun goes down.]

She yips again, ducking down into the play pose that most dogs take when they're excited and happy, her tail wagging to and fro as her tongue hangs from her mouth. Anyone is welcome to play!! She'll easily catch and roll and fetch anything that's kicked or rolled, and Ammy loves creatures of all shapes and sizes... She might even have a bit of food to give to any cats Rn may bring along, so they can have more energy to play!
Heh heh, now Ammy's getting pretty riled up, hoping she can wake up soon so that she can sniff out this cute girl and get going to play together.]

And even though her ultimate goal was to wait until their eyes opened so they could play by the ocean together. It wouldn't hurt to try it now, right? Just a little bit. It won't tire them out-the dream will make sure of that and there's a childish part of her that wants to play. Right now. Immediately. If the dog's making faces like that, maybe she feels the same way.
Where's a rock?? An ugly, non-treasure dream rock?? Well let's pretend she found one and, trying to replicate the bug kicking adventure they had prior, she taps it with her foot towards the posing pooch.]
Does Shiro want to play with this thing?

[She responds, equally excited. It's going to be pretty hard to roll or kick a rock in the sand, but Ammy is determined, and she knows Ren is equally so - and pretty tough to boot, when she wants to be. It doesn't have to be a super long or perfect game, either, just one they can enjoy. One day, maybe, Ammy will actually request a ball she can easily kick or toss around, too. Maybe something easily thrown? That'd be fun...though a stick works just as well for that. Hm...
Tail still wagging, Ammy bounds forward and smacks the grubby, little rock back to Ren, panting happily. It certainly doesn't roll very far in the sand, given the uneven surface and all the dips and bumps in the loose, shifting grains, but it at least reaches to where the little girl can toss or kick it back to he wolf. Ammy, impatient, huffs, and barks again as she bounces a little on her four legs. She's already having fun and the game barely started!]

The garbage kick gives her a terrible idea though and she flattens some of the ground with her foot, smoothing out the surface, and then-
kicks the little rock!! With all her toe bean, foot nugget might. It goes farther than before, but considering how rough the terrain is, that's still not great. She's not getting it past any fake goalies here.]
You're winning! Good job!
[GOOD JOB GOOD DOG]

The smoothed surface does a bit better with the rolling, but not by much - sand is indeed a finicky mistress. Ammy is undeterred though, she swats the little rock back as best she can with a paw, barking happily and jumping up on her front arms. She's winning!!! 8D]

She would run blades of grass up and down, watching them chase it. Sometimes she would use her hand, knowing they would never hurt her and just bat their little paws at her fingers. She would throw tiny items that would roll and watch them run and run. ESP kitty was special-he could do a little more than the average cat and Murasaki, with all his talents, was able to play with her differently too.
But a dog? It's fun. Very fun. She didn't think it could be quite this exciting to have the creature bat the rock her way, like she knows they're in a pvp soccer match right now. The excitement is palpable. The dog's swat earns her-]
200 points!
[In what? For what? Ren doesn't know, but she wants to keep that magical flower dog happy.]
If you hit that thing-
[She points vaguely to a log where hopefully no one's sitting? Ren doesn't seem to care regardless.]
Then you win the whole game.
[Go for it doggo!! She's cheering you on!!]
