[MU] - DECEMBER STORYTELLING / MEMORY SHARE
Something is wrong.
This may not very well be obvious, at first. The Storyteller is not present to put forth yet another diatribe, informative or apologetic, and the backdrop of guttering flame and sandy campfire is as present as ever...albeit briefly.
Those who tell their stories will start to notice something...odd taking place. Indeed, no matter how they intend to begin their tale, the land of Mu will immediately start to warp to accommodate it, or something utterly unlike it, until storytellers and listeners alike may find themselves in an exact recreation of a seemingly random memory, in the most stark and painstaking of detail. There is no altering the memory, nor is there any preventing it once it's begun to play - you will simply have to witness memories that are not your own this go around.
Furthermore, stories that take place in worlds other than LifeAftr will be, frankly, inevitable. Those memories, too, will be recreated, to be relived by the teller and lived by the listener.
It is time, once more, for you to tell a story...with a slight twist! This is, in fact, our first player plot, as provided by Dragon! The initial setting will be familiar for oldcomers, and newcomers will recognize it from the introduction they received in their dreams.
Yet for this Storytelling only, people can imagine whatever stories they wish, from both their homes and their time on LifeAftr, as long as they don't mind the fact that others will be reliving those stories in the form of an impromptu memory share.
Even those who prefer not to voice their stories aloud are not safe this time around. If the memory is recalled in essence, Mu will shift to accommodate it in full.
There is, however, a benefit to this: those who venture memories to be relived will receive both a befuddled apology from the Storyteller, who will assert that this was most definitely not meant to happen (they're the Storyteller, not the Rememberer!), as well as a tired promise that the relived memories will be worth two offerings each, as if in compensation.
Not that it counts for much, probably.

C.
A loving friend who's apparently been through another side of life Luna hasn't. Guzma's was the same. Her eyes soften on Ren's form, peeling mold from an unrecognizable food item...and then giving it to the ants. She can't help but smile a little. It's...very much a thing she'd expect Ren to do. ]
That's a really pretty flower! [ she remarks, putting her hands behind her back. It really is-- and despite it's slight aged appearance, it really suits her!! ]

It's a good treasure.
[It became a symbol. Something she could touch when the world around her became too scary. Something to concentrate on instead of the echoes and cries of malicious ghosts in buildings.]
It's not real-[Just in case Luna was confused by its awesome appearance, like she had been upon finding it.]-You don't have to water it. It stays pretty all the time.

[ is that physically true? No. Alola is home to several jewelers and high end shops where accessories like this are made every day...but the meaning to Ren is greater than what it looks like. In a place like the one from her memory, this was the best. The look of excitement in her eyes lit the whole room. It was hard to focus on anyone but her.
Luna clasps her hands together. ]
It looks really nice in your hair, too! I tried to give Kitten a clip for his hair when he was smaller, but he didn't like them. [ ah. fond memories of getting scratched by a litten who wanted nothing to do with accessories. G-good times... ]

Not there was anyone to ask.]
Sometimes cats like collars.
[Then again, Luna would understand the feeling of wrestle cats more than her.]
Kitten would like a pretty flower on that kind of thing.
[MAYBE]

Not collars, either, I think. He's pretty picky. But he does have a really cool fire belt! It looks like a wrestling champion's belt! He's really proud of it! [ he's stupidly proud of it. His means to attack outside of his swole bod come from that belt, after all. ]
Oh, but it's like a collar! For his hips!
[ INCINEROAR, SUCH FASHION!!! ]
no subject
That brings up so many questions. A collar for his hips made of fire? And the cat doesn't mind it? Strange.]
Can we put flowers on the belt?
[WOULD THAT WORK.......]
no subject
I think we could? But he wouldn't be able to use his fire attacks, 'cause the flowers would burn up. [ :C that would be v. sad. ] But maybe he could wear it just for parties?
[ he'd never wear it. ever. but Luna likes to think he might at least try it on for Ren...without catching it on fire. ]

[She's unfamiliar with this bit of cat terminology, which is disappointing. Maybe it's a world specific, wrestle cat thing? The word itself strikes a chord with her-it's a phrase she used to see in books around Tokyo. She doesn't recall the full meaning now though.]
A place with balloons? Kitten likes that?
