Beauregard

Player Name: Alex
Character Name: Beauregard
Character Journal: [personal profile] lesbeau
Number of Offerings: 3

Offering(s): She's reserved at the beginning, sort of in the back with her arms crossed, but when there's a lull she'll jump in. She starts with a fanciful story about wrestling a giant snake to save a fisherman's daughter, which, for as much as it seems insane, is absolutely true. She's the kind of person who doesn't tell as linear story, so much as it's phrases like "And then I punched it and it exploded like, pshhhh, and it was awesome". By the way she says it, this wasn't even the most exciting thing she's done in her life by a very long shot.

Second, she'll lean in to the idea of a horror flick by the fire and tell a story of visiting a circus where, upon seeing a riveting performance of a young dwaven girl's song, a man morphed and changed into a horrible monster. She doesn't hide any details, going into sometimes gruesome descriptions of the way his flesh tore open and how he was coming to eat everyone here probably in the hopes that someone would scream. Whether they do or not, she laughs, and makes it very clear that she subsequently kicked it's ass and it's now very dead.

The last story she tells is more recent, which relates to the visit of a little town called Hupperdook. She talks about upon their visit, they entered into a speed drinking competition known as the Hour of Honor and absolutely kicked ass. This is the first time she's mentioned some of her friends- specifically, people by the name of Mollymauk, Nott, and Caleb, and conveniently leave out that she's the only person who lost her round. Ultimately, she actually sounds super animated about this one, finishing it off by proclaiming these being the stories of the victories of a group called the Mighty Nein.
