The words he uses are almost as if...he feels they've done everything thus far because they felt it was best. Because they felt it- not because it was. And there's really no point in correcting him, in stating the cold truth of the matter.

Their feelings matter as little now as they have this entire time. It is an obligation, to do the right thing. And ultimately, things are the same as they have ever been.

The world is a far better place without them in it.

And Tim, for all his faults, has never contested that.
