[That simple gesture is the only permission she needs to amble over, sitting as close as she can get. There's no way she's going to ignore an opportunity to sit by her cat's side. Personal space is nonexistent in a dream, apparently.

And with that, she stops to listen for his stomach. It's to ease her own mind and hope he's not running into similar issues here. He doesn't know how to hunt, but everyone here is so kind it would be impossible for him to not have a meal in his stomach at all times. Or so she hopes.

[They don't even need to say 'nya', but it certainly helps.]
