Ah, that kind of life, huh?

[Gobbet recalls her own preteen years as a fledgling shadowrunner with some amount of fondness. Sure, it had been necessity at the time, and none of it was as glamorous as she was led to believe on her way into the industry. But it was fun, in its own warped and twisted way.]

I wouldn't say "required", just "recommended". It also depends on the work. An assassination might be easier with nobody else in the way, but if you're going up against a hoard of enemies, you could do worse than having some people around to soak up the excess bullets in your place.

[She's only half kidding.]
