[Asagi and Murasaki didn't play in a dream like her, she's sure. But even in a dream she remembers getting excited too. She remembers running and running and realizing exhaustion wasn't catching up to her at all. Her arms didn't hurt, her heart didn't race, and she didn't stumble over her own feet-the dream allowed that.

So it's not difficult to imagine a real game, and in turn, a real cat tripping over their paws in exhaustion, stumbling over the ball and not wanting to sleep because the sun isn't down yet. She could see it. It's what happens when you're happy, she's starting to realize. You don't want to end and she's not sure she could keep Asagi in line like Murasaki could, when she would try to play the game for as long as she could stand up. He's a good brother that way.

She can't wait for Asagi to find them.

I like to pitch. That's what I can do. I didn't let Seto hit the ball.

[Until he.........hit the ball, which was made apparent by the memory.]

Seto likes to bat. He does that thing best. [A pause.] He can 'run bases' too. I think he likes that. [Another pause] And I like to run in the field. That kind of thing is fun. You run really far and catch the ball-[She holds up both her hands now, in an attempt to catch an imaginary foul ball.]-like this. That's my favorite part.

[SHE HAS STRONG FEELINGS ABOUT BASEBALL OKAY??]
