[They study the shape closely. After a few moments, it finally registers - they see! It's a butterfly, imprinted in the shape of a silhouette across the sand. That's clever. The Drifter looks to their own hands, glove-wrapped and slightly pointed at the tips. It should not be so difficult to form shapes with their hands, so that the shadows look like something of their own.]

[They have never done this before. It's slow and clumsy, but eventually they manage a very basic, very simple shadow: a dog, pointed snout and parted jaws and upright ears.]
