Player Name: Caity Character Name: Brian Thomas Character Journal:thejaw Number of Offerings: One. Offering(s): Brian's isn't an unwillingly or intentionally bad storyteller, but his story is stilted and somewhat difficult to keep track of all the same. Occasionally he jumps back to fill in a gap that he forgot about, or says a phrase that has little meaning without context that he fails to give. While it's obvious the story is about himself, he never says his own name, or indicates in any way an empathetic connection with the main character. He sounds disconnected from it all.
Still, the story is certainly compelling- he speaks of a constant fight for survival. It's tale of thievery, digging for scraps, and making do with what one has on hand. He speaks of an overwhelming, near constant and always threatening presence. Of feeling the end closing in, rapidly approaching, and options dwindling. Of a sharp, sudden fall, and a not at all sudden end. The story trails off rather unsatisfactorily after that.
